StatSeed is StatSheet's postseason projections for all of Division I, including the NCAA Tournament, National Invitation Tournament (NIT), College Basketball Invitational (CBI), and the CollegeInsider.com Postseason Tournament (CIT). Read more about how StatSeed is calculated.

StatSheet now projects Davidson to be a 15 seed in the NCAA Tournament. The Wildcats are, at this point, on track for an automatic bid, and they will need to win their conference tournament as they're #115 in the StatSheet StatRank. They have a 12-7 overall record and a 7-1 record in the SoCon.

Over the last four games, Davidson looked solid with wins against Western Carolina, College of Charleston, and Citadel but also stumbled with a bad loss to RPI #261 Georgia Southern.

Davidson struggles against strong competition, with a 2-4 record against the RPI Top 100 that includes an 0-4 record against the RPI Top 50 and an 0-3 record against AP ranked teams. While the Wildcats have no quality wins, they're weighed down by three bad losses including RPI #261 Georgia Southern, RPI #215 Drexel, and RPI #310 Milwaukee.

The last four teams into the NCAA Tournament with at-large bids are Charlotte (16-3, 4-1 A-10, StatRank #46), Villanova (12-7, 3-3 Big East, StatRank #58), Rutgers (12-6, 3-4 Big East, StatRank #56), and Wisconsin (13-6, 4-2 Big Ten, StatRank #59).

The first four teams out are Arizona State (15-4, 4-2 Pac 12, StatRank #65), Kentucky (12-6, 3-2 SEC, StatRank #67), Maryland (15-4, 3-3 ACC, StatRank #66), and Southern Miss (16-4, 5-0 C-USA, StatRank #44).

The next four out are Boise State (14-4, 2-2 Mountain West, StatRank #45), Brigham Young (15-6, 5-2 West Coast, StatRank #40), Iowa (13-6, 2-4 Big Ten, StatRank #70), and Texas A&M (12-6, 2-3 SEC, StatRank #71).
